7.3 Description of Each Parameter
PV bias (1. Pb, 2. Pb)
PV bias adds bias to the Measured value (PV). The PV bias is used to compensate the individual variations of
the sensors or correct the difference between the Measured value (PV) of other instruments.
Data range:
Input span to
Input span
Factory set value:
Input 1_PV bias (1. Pb): 0
Input 2_PV bias (2. Pb): 0
Related parameter:
Auto-zero (P. 48)
The Input 1_PV bias (1. Pb) value is also reflected to the result of Auto-zero adjustment. Manual zero
adjustment can be performed by changing this PV bias value.*
* Relevant pressure sensors: Our CZ-100P or CZ-200P
PV digital filter (1. dF, 2. dF)
This item is the time of the first-order lag filter eliminate noise against the measured input.
Data range:
OFF
(Unused)
0.01 to 10.00 seconds
Factory set value:
Input 1_PV digital filter (1. dF): OFF
Input 2_PV digital filter (2. dF): OFF
PV ratio (1. Pr, 2. Pr)
PV ratio is a multiplier to be applied to the Measured value (PV). The PV ratio is used to compensate the
individual variations of the sensors or correct the difference between the Measured value (PV) of other
instruments.
Data range:
0.500
to
1.500
Factory set value:
Input 1_PV ratio (1. Pr): 1.000
Input 2_PV ratio (2. Pr): 1.000
Related parameter:
Auto calibration (P. 49)
When using our CZ-100P or CZ-200P:
Explosionproof specification type:
Set the desired correction factor of our safety barrier RZB-001 to the Input 1_PV ratio (1. Pr). Thus,
an indicated error caused by the use of the safety barrier is corrected. The correction factor is
described in the nameplate attached to the safety barrier (RZB-001).
Non-explosionproof specification type:
As the Input 1_PV ratio (1. Pr), use a factory set value of “1.000” with this value left intact.
When using the strain gauge type sensors other than RKC product:
The result obtained by Auto calibration is reflected to the Input 1_PV ratio (1. Pr).
Manual full scale adjustment can be performed by changing this PV ratio value.
