completely uses up one half of a charge cycle.
The follow ng are examples of the type of serv ce you should perform yourself. All other serv ce,
ma ntenance and repa r should be performed n a properly equ pped fac l ty by a qual fied E-B ke
mechan c us ng the correct tools and procedures spec fied by the manufacturer.
Your E-B ke w ll last longer and work better f you break t n before r d ng t hard. Control cables and wheel spokes
may stretch or sear when a new E-B ke s first used and may requ re readjustment by your dealer. Your mechan cal
safety check w ll help you dent fy some th ngs that need readjustment. But even f everyth ng seems fine to you. t s
best to take your E-B ke back to the dealer for a checkup. Dealers typ cally suggest you br ng the E-B ke n 30 days for
a checkup. Another way to judge when t’s t me for the first checkup s to br ng the E-B ke n after 10to 15 hours of use.
But f you th nk someth ng s wrong w th the E-B ke, take t to your dealer before r d ng t aga n.

“End of useful l fe” refers to the po nt at wh ch a battery can no longer supply 60% of ts or g nal rated capac ty
n ampere-hours. After th s po nt, the ag ng process w ll accelerate and the battery w ll need to be replaced.
