If you use a screwdr ver or any tool other than a t re lever, you are l kely to puncture the tube.
CAUTION

Carefully check the outs de and ns de of the t re for the cause of the puncture and remove the cause f t s
st ll there. If the t re s cut, l ne the ns de of the t re n the area of the cut w th tape, a spare patch, a p ece of
nner tube, whatever w ll keep the cut from p nch ng the nner tube. E ther patch the tube (Follow the
nstruct ons n your patch k t),or use a new tube. Re nstall the t re and tube. Sl p one t re bead over the r m.
Insert the tube valve through ts hole n the r m .Feed the tube carefully nto the cav ty of the t re. Inflate the
tube just enough to g ve t some shape. Start ng at the valve stem use your thumbs to seat the t re bead
ns de the r m. Work your way around both s de of the wheel unt l the ent re bead s seated n the r m. Be
careful not to p nch the tube between the t re bead and the wheel r m. If you have trouble gett ng the last few
nches of bead over the edge of the r m w th thumb pressure, use a t re lever and be careful not to p nch the
tube.

l fe and should be replaced.
If you get a flat t re, remove the wheel. Depress the t re valve to let all the a r out of the tube. Remove one
bead of the t re from the r m by grasp ng the t re at a po nt oppos te the valve stem w th both hands l ft ng
and peel ng one s de of the t re off the r m. If the bead s too t ght for you to unseat t w th your hands, use t re
levers to l ft the bead carefully over the t re r m. Push the valve stem through the wheel r m. Remove the
nner tube.
