Alde Frost Protection Mode

The Alde system will protect itself from freezing by dumping the water in its tank if the temperature approaches freezing.
If your Alde system has dumped, you will need to reset the frost control valve. Open the compartment that houses your Alde, turn the frost

control valve 90 degrees from its tripped position to reset and press the Alde reset button on the side of the control-valve housing. (Picture

*Read the Alde Appliance Manual for Specific Operating and Reset Instructions.*

“Note - Never Block or Obstruct the Air Ducting

When Operating Your Furnace.”

Alde Engine-Heat Exchanger and Engine Pre-Heat

The Alde system is provisioned with an engine heat-exchanger. The heat exchanger can pre-heat your engine in cold temps.  The switch for
the engine pre-heat is located on the passenger seat pedestal. (Picture 52.2)
