The SMART 2000 thermostat can be configured by your installer for a
large variety of configurations and functions so that your thermostat
is set to meet your individual needs. This manual may describe a
function or feature not active on your thermostat.
PROGRAMMING THE SMART 2000
This thermostat has several features and operating modes that the user should
become familiar with before programming.
The steps to properly program your SMART 2000 are:
• Determine which type of thermostat (programmable or manual) you have.
• Take the time to write down any temperature settings or start/stop times you
will be using, Table 1 - Heating and Table 2 - Cooling.
Commercial: Single setpoint or two setpoints
Residential: Day/night setpoints or seven day with four events.
NOTE:
The heat setpoint cannot be set higher than the cool setpoint and the
cool setpoint cannot be set lower than the heat setpoint.
