Intended
Use:
The MULTICHRON PRO VIS model high visibility protective anti-static and flame retardant clothing (a detailed list of clothing models is presented in Table no 1) is
designed to be used in an environment where a capability of preventing electrostatic discharges able to initiate ignition is required. The clothing is designed to be
worn in zones: 1, 2, 20, 21 and 22 (see EN 60079-10-1 and EN 60079-10-2) where the minimum ignition energy of the explosive atmosphere is not lower than
0.016 mJ. The clothing also provides protection against short-lasting contact with flame (flame spread: level A1 and A2) and the impact of convective heat (level:
B1), heat radiation (level: C1) and contact heat (level: F1). The material complies with the EN ISO 14116 limited flame spread indicator 3. The clothing produces a
visual signal to make the user visible, e.g. to operators of vehicles or other machines, in all light conditions, both in daylight and in darkness when illuminated by
vehicle headlamps.
Material Composition:
50 % cotton, 39 % modacrylic, 10 % viscose, 1 % carbon fibre /anti-static/
The product conforms to the relevant requirements of the EU harmonisation legislation: Regulation (EU) 2016/425, and meets the requirements of the standards:
EN ISO 13688:2013, EN ISO 11612:2015, EN ISO 14116:2015, EN 1149-5:2018 and EN ISO 20471:2013/A1:2016. The declaration of conformity is available on
the website
www.robod.pl/ce
The clothing meets the requirements contained in Directive 89/686/EEC, concerning the basic requirements for the personal protective equipment, and in standards:
PN-EN
Usage:
Select the clothing size to fit the user based on the sizes presented on the label attached to the product. The high visibility protective flame retardant
and electrostatic dissipative blouse should be used together with the protective flame retardant electrostatic dissipative trousers (protective bib-and-
brace overalls or protective waist-high trousers). The clothing should always cover the body, shoulders and legs. Always make sure the clothing is
accurately fastened (buttonned up) when being used. The protective flame retardant electrostatic dissipative clothing should neither be unzipped or
unbuttonned nor taken off in the presence of flammable or explosive atmospheres or while working with flammable or explosive substances. It is
forbidden to clean, wipe, sweep, dust etc. the clothing in the presence of flammable or explosive atmospheres or while working with flammable or
explosive substances. Carry out all cleaning and maintenance operations outside the hazard zone. A person wearing the high visibility protective flame
retardant electrostatic dissipative clothing should be properly earthed e.g. by wearing appropriate footwear on a dissipative or conductive substrate. The
resistance between the human skin and the ground should be less than 10
8
. The high visibility protective flame retardant and electrostatic dissipative
clothing should be worn so as to permanently cover up all materials not fulfilling the requirements while doing the everyday work (also while bending,
leaning etc.). In case when works are done in leaning positions, the protective blouse must properly cover the upper part of the protective trousers. In
the presence of flammable or explosive atmospheres or while working with flammable or explosive substances, you must not hook up to the brackets
nor store in the pockets with which the clothing is equipped any protruding objects which have not been approved for use under such hazards.
Damaged, e.g. torn, ripped, burnt-through etc. clothing should be immediately withdrawn from use or repaired. Regularly inspect the clothing in
accordance to the manufacturer's recommendations. Visually inspect the clothing for damages after every cleaning and before each usage.
Furthermore, we recommend to use additional personal protective equipment as required depending on the hazards which exist in the workplace, e.g.
protective gloves, footwear etc.
Transportation and Storage:
Store the clothing in its genuine packaging. The clothing should be stored in a dry and well ventilated room, far from sources of heat and light,
protected against getting soiled, stained and damaged and from the impact of chemicals. Do not store the clothing for more than 5 years
following the date of purchase. Prevent it from getting heavily soiled and stained.

Disposal:
Dispose in conformity to the local regulations mandatory in the given country.
Note:
The high visibility protective flame retardant and electrostatic dissipative clothing should not be used in flammable atmospheres enriched
with oxygen or in zone 0 (see EN 60079-10-1 and EN 60079-10-2) without an earlier approval of an engineer responsible for safety.
The efficiency of protection provided by the high visibility protective flame retardant and electrostatic dissipative clothing may be
determined by its wear, tears, washing and potential soiling and staining.
In case when the clothing has been accidentally splashed with chemical substances or flammable liquids,
the user should immediately leave the hazard zone and carefully take off the clothing while making sure that
neither the chemicals nor the liquids contact the skin. After being taken off, the clothing should be cleaned or
withdrawn from use.
Do not use the high visibility protective flame retardant and electrostatic dissipative clothing for protection against electric shock.
The materials used to manufacture the MULTICHRON PRO VIS model protective clothing have not been found to contain substances
likely to cause allergic reactions although in case any allergic reaction is shown, particularly by sensitive persons, they must leave the
hazard zone, take off the clothing and consult a doctor.
The specific maximum number of cleaning cycles is not the only factor related to the product lifetime.
The product lifetime will also depend on the conditions on which it is used, stored etc.
The clothing should be worn to protect the user’s body as intended by the manufacturer.
We recommend keeping these instructions.
This usage manual is applicable to the following clothing models:
High visibility protective antistatic and flame retardant clothing, model: MULTICHRON PRO VIS (1)
High visibility protective antistatic and flame retardant bib and bib-and-brace overalls, model: MULTICHRON PRO VIS (2)
High visibility protective antistatic and flame retardant bib and waist-high trousers, model: MULTICHRON PRO VIS (3)
Complete set: high visibility protective antistatic and flame retardant blouse and bib-and-brace overalls, model: MULTICHRON PRO VIS (4)
Complete set: high visibility protective antistatic and flame retardant blouse and waist-high trousers, model: MULTICHRON PRO VIS (5)
To ensure the required level of protection, the protective blouse (1) must be used together with the protective overalls or trousers (2 or 3).
