3.4. DESCRIPTION OF THE ELECTRICAL DEVICES
The figure shows the positioning of the devices on board of the machine.
A)
gear motor: it enables the movement of the left conveyor belt.
B)
gear motor: it enables the movement of the right conveyor belt.
C)
Gear motor: activates the movement of the entrance carrier (Optional).
D)
"Entrance guard" limit switch: detects the opening of the protective guard upon entry.
E)
"Exit guard" limit switch: detects the opening of the protective guard upon exit.
F)
“Flap cover” photocell: detects the passage of the product and commands the functioning of the rear
flap cover.
G)
“Tape closure” photocell: detects the passage of the product and commands the closure of the
conveyor belts.
H)
“Downward bridge” photocell: detects the passage of the product and commands the descent of the
lifting bridge.
I)
"Bridge up" sensor: detects the complete lifting of the lifting bridge.
J)
"Bridge down" limit switch: detects the descent of the lifting bridge on the product.
K)
"Upper head tape deficiency" photocell: detects that the tape on the upper taping unit head is running
out.
L)
"Lower head tape deficiency" photocell: detects that the tape on the lower taping unit head is running
out.

"Upper head tape breakage" sensor: detects the breakage/end of the tape on the upper taping unit.

“Open tapes” sensor: detects the complete opening of the conveyor belts.

"Lower head tape breakage" sensor: detects the breakage/end of the tape on the lower taping unit.
