7.1 Gripper Cleaning

The Robotiq 3-Finger Adaptive Robot Gripper is not waterproof, clean the Gripper with a dry towel.
Caution
Always turn off robot and Gripper power supply before doing maintenance operations on the Gripper.
Procedure
1.
Insert the 2.0 mm precision screwdriver into the hole under the finger to open.
2.
Rotate the screwdriver counter clockwise to open the finger.
3.
Clean the Gripper with a dry towel, remove all debris, dirt and dust from the surface of the Gripper.
4.
Visually inspect the Gripper and pay attention to any visible wear or damage.
5.
Check Gripper Coupling to ensure a tight fit.
