3.4.2. Installing the Hand-EGripper onto e-Series robots
The use of a coupling to attach the Hand-E Gripper to the robot is necessary. Please consult the Spare Parts, Kits and Accessories
section in the Hand-E Instruction Manual to consult the list of couplings available.
Here are the steps to mount the Hand-E on the robot (exploded view in the figure below). Note that all screws should be locked using
medium strength threadlocker.

Mount the coupling on the robot tool flange. Align using the dowel pin.

Secure by inserting the M6 screws and tooth lock washers.

Mount the Hand-E Gripper onto the coupling using M5 screws and align it with the dowel pin.

Secure the gripper to the coupling.

Cover the connector by installing the wrist connection protector using the M4 screws.
