In cases where there is a danger of fall and where, for technical reasons or a very short duration of task, a safe access
cannot be secured otherwise, it is necessary to consider using personal protective equipment. Such usage shouldn't be
improvised and its selection is specifically supposed to be subject to the relevant core safety measures at the job site.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Do not use the lanyard without careful reading of the instructions for use.
These Directions for Use show various options of application. Some of the established ways of improper use are shown in
crossed pictures. The ways of improper use are not limited to those listed as their number is inexhaustible. Lanyard can only
be used in ways shown on pictures which are not crossed. Any other way of use is forbidden and may lead to an accident or
death. In case of any usage issue or confusion, please contact the MANUFACTURER.
Usage
Attention: Professional training is required prior to use.
The product must only be used in combination with an energy absorber in accordance with EN 355 and a metal
connector conforming to EN 362 (a steel or duraluminium snap hook, eventually oval buckle, the so-called Maillon)
and, also, in combination with other protective equipment that, together with the Lanyard, form a simple compatible
system.
The anchor system must correspond to EN 795 (minimal strength 12kN for steel elements and 18kN for
textile elements) and should, whenever possible, be located above the user. There must be adequate free depth
under the user: in case of a fall, the user should not fall on any obstacle. The anchor point must be located so as
to ensure that both free fall and the potential fall distance are minimized. The EN 795 anchor system should be
used only as personal protective equipment in the event of a fall, not to lift loads.
This product may only be used by responsible and professionally trained personnel or a person under permanent
supervision of such personnel. Check whether the product is compatible with other pieces of your equipment. Use
products complying with relevant standards and regulations only.
It is necessary that the user of this harness be informed about ways to provide rescue in case of an accident
occurrence.

Inspection
Check correct length before use to assure maximum safety.
Check correct connection of the Lanyard to the other parts of the system in the course of its use. Prior to and following each
use, it is required that the condition of the rope and seams be checked, including less accessible parts of the product. Use of
a product showing the slightest signs of damage must be immediately discontinued. All product construction changes or repairs
outside our manufacturing premises are prohibited.
