Apply

 

a

 

thin

 

coat

 

of

 

Titebond

 

glue

 

to

 

the

 

end

 

of

 

the

 

fretboard,

 

put

 

the

 

nut

 

in

 

place,

 

and

 

clamp.

 

Only

 

a

 

small

 

amount

 

of

 

glue

 

is

 

required

 

here

 

since

 

no

 

mechanical

 

stress

 

is

 

put

 

on

 

the

 

nut;

 

the

 

guitar

 

strings

 

will

 

hold

 

it

 

in

 

place.

 

Note

 

that

 

due

 

to

 

manufacturing

 

tolerances,

 

the

 

nut

 

may

 

be

 

slightly

 

wider

 

than

 

the

 

neck.

 

If

 

that

 

is

 

the

 

case,
