guard hole, rotate the switch guard over the switch until it drops into place, then re-install the
9/16 inch nut and using the extention on the socket, like a screw driver, then use a ratchet
handle to tighten it up just a bit with minimum torque snug and tight.
TIPS, TRICKS, AND TIDBITS OF INFORMATION
Setting the delay
. As a standard practice we like to start by first dialing in double ( 00 )
zero. On the two rotary switches. On delay set to Zero . Off delay set to Zero.
When you turn on the rocker switch. Everything should come on all a once, all five leds,
"Instant On Mode". Then engage the push button switch, three leds should go out,
"Receptacle One Stays on Mode". Then you know for a fact you are at (00). For fun engage
the push button switch again a couple of times, and watch the three leds turn on and off. ".
Then you know for a fact you are at (00).
In live stage open mike enviroment where multiple people are plugging gear in and out of
RS-4 , I believe (00) double zero is a good choice. Always on just plug it in.
Remember to keep delay settings different to avoid "Timer Mode"
It never hirts to have extra delay. So if 6 seconds is good then 12 is good too.
As you experiment with selecting the best time delay, keep your volume at a low level to
protect your speakers. As you increase the time delay, that potentially destructive “POP”
should become weaker and weaker until you can’t hear it.
The Off Delay sequence is where most equipment problems occur. For that reason, as a
starting point, we suggest that you set the Off Delay a 4 to 6 seconds in relationship with
your effects. Most problems are resolved withm 4 to 6 seconds Off Delay. You can
experiment with it, and adjust delay up or down; a little extra delay never hurts.
Solid state amplifiers turn on very quickly, so additional On Delay may be necessary. For
that reason, as a starting point, we suggest that you set the On Delay sequence at 2 or 3
seconds.
Tube amplifiers turn on much more slowly; there is a good chance you could reduce the "On
Delay" down to 2 or even 1 second.
Anyone wishing to have the new sequence modes of operation added to their older Rockn
Stompn power strip, simple needs to mail their unit back to us and we will reprogram their
units with the new sequence modes and send unit back at no additional charge.
Because the surge suppression network is designed specifically for the USA and Canada,
your ROCKN STOMPN power strip is not intended for international use.
