Thermal overheat
There is a thermal safety switch fitted to the boiler. If this switch operates then this message
is displayed. You will need to call a service engineer to reset this safety device.
Some conditions can occur when attempting to open the door.
In order to maintain safety and prevent possible damage to the machine there are a number of
conditions that prevent the door being opened. The following fault messages identify these
conditions.
Excessive temperature
The door cannot be opened until all both probes are below 80ºC if the temperatures are above
this you must wait for them to drop.
Pressure locked
The pressure lock has failed to release, make sure that the mechanism is not jammed. Turn
the top lock bolt a little in each direction to try and free it.
Door lock jammed
If the thermal lock solenoid does not pull in then the door cannot be opened. Turn the bottom
lock bolt a little in each direction to try and free it
Water level low/Out of water
Fill with water and restart the cycle
Cycle Failed
There are a few conditions that will cause the cycle to fail. The display shows cycle failed
instead of the normal cycle complete. The display will also show one of the following
messages:
Temperature droop shows if the temperature of the load falls below the set point for a
prolonged period. You should look at the recorded data for the log and decide if it is safe to
pass the load or if it should be sterilised again. If the fault persists then have your machine
checked by an authorised agent.
Power interruption is displayed if the cycle was interrupted by a power supply fault. The
cycle will have restarted and should have sterilised for another period. You should check the
recorded data and decide if it is safe to accept the load or if any other action is required.
