3. Select the required remote sense mode for selected channels.
● "EXT": The internal voltage sense relay in the instrument is switched on and
the connection of remote sense wires (S+, S- ) to the input of the load become
necessary. Failure to connect remote sense can cause overvoltage or unregu-
lated voltage output from the R&S NGA100. The voltage sense relay remains
switched on even when output is turned off.
● "Disabled" : Remote sense connection is disabled.

Channel Fusion
The "ChannelFusion" provides configuration to set the connection mode (series or par-
allel) of the device. The R&S NGA100 has an internal series link to connect Ch 1 and
Ch 2 if series mode is configured.
The device operates as a 1-channel device which combines both Ch 1 and Ch 2 out-
put.

The "ChannelFusion" is available only in the two-channel models.
1. Press [Menu] key on the front panel.
The main menu screen appears.
2. Select "Output" > "ChannelFusion" menu item to configure channel fusion mode.
The R&S NGA100 displays the "ChannelFusion" dialog.
