Note:
Risk of losing trigger settings. Your importing action overwrites all current trigger
settings in the switch unit’s internal volatile memory with the settings in the imported
file.
To avoid losing current trigger settings, consider saving these settings for later refer-
ence by
, before you import different trigger settings.
"Device"
Selects the switch unit's "Internal Storage" (= default) or an external
USB storage device. An external USB storage device is only availa-
ble, if it is connected to one of the USB ports on the front or rear
panel of the R&S
OSP.
To remove an external USB storage device, use the eject button and
proceed as described in the section
"Export Trigger Configuration"
"Filename"
Selects the trigger settings file you want to import. The firmware
offers only suitable settings files with the extension "
.trigger
",
although this extension is not displayed.
If there is no "
.trigger
" file in the selected storage device, you can-
not select a filename. Instead, the following message is shown:
"There are no files available on the selected storage device."

Access: "Configuration" > "Trigger" tab > "Context Menu" > "Export/Import Trigger" >
"Delete Trigger Configuration File"
Prerequisite: a previously exported
To delete the selected file, click the "OK" button in the top right corner of the dialog.
A warning comes up: "You have selected a trigger configuration file to delete. Do you
really want to proceed?"
Confirm with "OK" or "Cancel" the deletion.
If there is no "
.trigger
" file in the selected storage device, you cannot select a file-
name. Instead, the following message is shown: "There are no files available on the
selected storage device."
