Prerequisite: the data of a previously
interconnection configuration must be
available.
Loads an interconnection configuration from a selected export file into the switch unit’s
internal volatile memory. The file includes the definitions of all secondary switch units in
your interconnection setup (both in physical and virtual mode). If available, it also
includes the secondary switch units' virtual module configurations.
To load the selected file, click the "OK" button in the top right corner of the dialog.
Note:
Risk of losing configurations. Your import overwrites all current secondary device
configurations in the switch unit’s internal volatile memory with the configurations in the
imported file.
To avoid losing current configurations, consider saving these configurations for later
reference by
, before you import a different set of configurations.
"Device"
Selects the switch unit's "Internal Storage" (= default) or an external
USB storage device. An external USB storage device is available
only, if it is connected to one of the USB ports on the front or rear
panel of the R&S
OSP.
To remove an external USB storage device, use the eject button and
proceed as described in the section
"Filename"
Selects the file you want to import. The firmware offers only suitable
secondary device configurations files with the extension "
.iconn
",
although this extension is not displayed. Legacy file extensions are
still supported.
If there is no "
.iconn
" or legacy file in the selected storage device,
you cannot select a filename. Instead, the following message is
shown: "There are no files available on the selected storage device."
