Automatic supply air flap
The kiln can optionally be equipped with an automatic supply air flap. It is opened and closed by an electric
servomotor. The of the supply air flap servomotor is located on the underside of the kiln.

The automatic supply air flap is operated and controlled via the control
unit.
To do this, the appropriate event function in the particular kiln control
system must be selected.

You must read the relevant instruction manual for the control system
carefully!
Optionally, a fan for introducing cooling air can be connected upstream
from the automatic supply air flap.
Manual interlocking and unlocking of the supply air flap servomotor (e.g., in the event of a power failure):
If the supply air flap servomotor has been properly unlocked, the supply air flap can be opened or closed manually.
The servomotor must be interlocked again so that the supply air flap servomotor can be controlled via the control unit
once more.

NOTE
The introduction of cooling air using a fan or similar at firing chamber temperatures of 600°C
and above can damage the insulating material and the heating elements.

Cold air may only be brought in at a temperature below 600°C.

When operating a cooling fan, the exhaust air opening must be open.
If the insulation material is damaged in the event of non-observance of the above-mentioned
information, the manufacturer assumes no liability for this.
