First, remove the bolt on the side of the drive motor and let
the oil run out into the collection container.

If the oil stops flowing out, position the collection container
under the oil drain,
remove the bolt from the oil drain;
and let the remaining oil drain out completely.

To pour in new oil, first, seal the oil drain with the bolt.

First, 0.5 litres of new oil must be poured into the opening
on the side of the drive motor. To do this, the machine
must be tilted sideways with the help of a second person
so that the filler opening points somewhat upwards.
Attention:
The machine is very heavy and can easily fall over when
tilted. Severe personal injury or damage to property is
possible. Therefore, the support of a third person is
recommended.

Using a funnel, pour 0.5 litres of new commercially available
synthetic gear oil SAE 85 W 90 into the opening.

Place the pugmill back in the upright position.

If no oil leaks out of the opening on the drive motor,
repeat steps 8-10. But only pour in another 0.2 litres
instead of 0.5 litres.

If oil leaks out of the opening on the drive motor,
continue with step 12.

Seal the screw hole on the side of the drive motor with the
bolt.

Clean the drive motor and the housing of oily residues and
dispose of the drained waste oil according to regulations.

Reinstall the side cover on the pugmill.
