Mounting the engine mounts
You can choose between different motor bearings, depending on the
motor type and mounting situation.
Either you decide to mount the standard star or flat bearing ( 1 ), into
which the square spigot of the motor head is inserted and secured
with a split pin, or you use the click bearing ( 2 ) included with the
MLSF motors, which allows you to "click" the motor head into the
bearing without additional securing by a split pin.
Mounting the click bearing (MLS motors)
1. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the two screws on the motor
head, remove the bearing plate and pull the square peg out of the
motor head ( 3 ).
2. Attach the metal motor head plate of the click bearing to the motor
head using the screws provided ( 4 ).

3. Mount the click bearing (plastic) on the side wall of your roller
shutter box ( 5 ).
Make sure that the bearing is mounted "centered".
In the case of stem elements, you can leave the round pin in the side
part, as it fits exactly into the central recess of the click bearing as
well as into the now accessible opening in the motor head.
4. Now you can click the motor head plate into the bearing ( 6 ).
Make sure that the lateral hooks of the click bearing engage on the
motor head plate.
