BK-3 SOM USB-AFSPILLER
Det er muligt at bruge BK-3 til at afspille både MIDI- og Audiofiler ved at tilslutte en
USB-hukommelse. USB-memory kan også bruges til at gemme rytmer, sange, regi-
streringer m.v.
Klargør en USB-hukommelse til brug på BK-3
1. Indsæt USB-hukommelse i din computer og kopier de ønskede sange eller rytmer
over på USB-hukommelse.
Følgende formater understøttes:
Rhythms : .stl
SMF : .mid (format o/1) eller .kar
Audio files: .mp3 (sampling frekvens 44.1 kHz/ bitrate: 32-320 kbps) eller .wav (samp-
ling frekvens 44.1 kHz/16 bit) lineær.
2. Tilslut USB-hukommelse til BK-3 og tryk på [USB MEMORY] knappen.
Efter få sekunder vises USB-hukommelsens indhold på displayet:

12. Using the BK-3 as a USB player
This section explains how to playback MIDI (SMF) and audio songs stored
on an optional USB memory. Note that it is also possible to select rhythms
on that device and to use them in the same way as the internal rhythms.
New song and rhythm files can be copied to the USB memory using your
computer as you purchase them.
Getting Ready to Use the BK-3 as a
USB Player
1.
On your computer, copy the new song and rhythm files to
an optional USB memory (memory stick).
NOTE
Use USB memory sold by Roland (M-UF-series). We cannot
guarantee operation if any other USB memory is used.
2.
Connect the USB memory to your BK-3.
NOTE
Carefully insert the optional USB memory all
the way into the port until it is firmly in place.
NOTE
Never remove a USB memory while this unit is turned on. Doing
so may corrupt the unit’s data or the data on the USB memory.
NOTE
The BK-3 supports USB memories with a capacity of up to
2 TB.

Selecting a Song or Rhythm on a USB
Memory
1.
Connect an optional USB memory to the BK-3 or, if it was
already inserted, press the [USB MEMORY] button
After a few seconds, the display shows the contents of the USB
memory.
The icons to the left of the file names indicate the file type:

Use the [UP] or [DOWN] button to select the file you want
to play back or display.

Press the [ENTER] button to load the file.
The [USB MEMORY] button now lights to indicate that you selected
a file on the USB memory.
If the file you need is located inside a folder, you must first select
that folder, press the [ENTER] button to see its contents and then
select the file. If you opened a folder by mistake, press the [EXIT]
button to return to a higher level.

Press and hold the [EXIT] button to return to the main page.
Playing Back a Song or Rhythm from
a USB Memory
If you selected a rhythm, see “Playing Back Rhythms” p. 24, because
operation is the same as for internal rhythms.
In the following, we will therefore only show you how to play back song
files located on a USB memory.
NOTE
The BK-3 has no internal memory where you could store SMF or
audio files.
