IMPORTANT NOTES
Using the built-in connection cables of the MDS-12, connect
the pads, cymbals, hi-hat, and kick trigger pad.
To prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or
other devices, always turn down the volume, and turn off
the power on all devices before making any connections.

The HI-HAT and RIDE cymbal use two cables each.
See the TD-12 Owner’s Manual (p. 20 and p. 52).
• Adjust the VH-11’s offset.
* Do not pull or stretch the cables too tight.

* When connecting the cables, please refer to the marking labels
that are attached to both ends of the cables.
The MDS-12 is designed for right-handed drummers.
For left-handed users, the manner in which the pipes
should be configured and the way the cables need to be
run differ from what appears here, so a proper setup
cannot be achieved simply by following this manual.
