Important Points
To Ensure Safe Work
Turn off the sub power switch and main power switch, and unplug the power cord of the printer and
deodorization equipment before performing parts replacement. Performing the parts replacement while the
power is on may result in injury due to the unexpected operation of the printer.
Always use the UV protection sheet when the ink line is exposed to the light* during the replacement, or ink will
harden and clog in the ink line. And it will affect the condition of a machine.
*The light means the light which includes the ultraviolet light. Consider that most of the light including
fluorescent light includes the ultraviolet.
Use rubber gloves to prevent direct contact with the skin.
Contact with the ink may cause skin irritation.
Use deodorizing mask with activated carbon when necessary. When you carry the parts which are stained with
ink such as head or damper, put these parts into a bag (for example aluminum bag of ECO-UV INK) or container
that has a sealing capability. Current leakage may cause electrical shock, electrocution, or combustion and fire.
Otherwise, you might feel sick because of the evaporated ECO-UV INK.
Wear protective goggles when turning on the UV Lamp without covers and when replacing the heads.
