Update Procedure
Creating the Update SD Card
1. Start your computer then connect the SD Card to a SD Card Slot (or USB SD
Card Reader) of the computer.
2. Copy the update “UPDATE” Folder into the
root directory
of the SD Card.

Do not copy the Update Folder into any other folders. ***
3. Un-mount the SD Card drive from your PC, then remove the SD card.
Update the VR-5
1. Insert the update SD CARD to the VR-5, and press POWER to turn on.
Immediately after pressing the POWER button
, press and hold [MAIN MENU],
[EXIT], and [AUDIO SETUP]
at the same time
.
On the upper-left corner of SETUP/PREVIEW MONITOR LCD, the [ user update
(auto) ] message will appear.
Then release the buttons. Update process begins.
*** Wait for the entire set of updates to complete ***
2. At the end of the process, the message "Complete!" will appear. It takes up to
two minutes to update the VR-5.
3. Now, reboot the VR-5 and check the version.
4. Verify that the update was accomplished correctly and then turn off the power.
