Inserting the Memory Card

Open the card cover.
Open the cover by dragging it with the ball of your thumb.

Insert the memory card.

Close the card cover.

Check that the camera is turned off before opening the card cover.

• Insert the memory card so that the side with the
label attached faces the LCD monitor.
• When inserting the card, push it into the slot
until it makes a clicking sound and stops.
• If the card does not slide in smoothly, the card
may be upside down. Check that the card is the
right way up and do not try to force it into the
slot.
• Do not attach stickers of any sort to the memory
card as this may jam the card in the slot so that
you cannot remove it.

camera, format the memory card in the camera
