Prepare the Quadrocopter
Charge the quadrocopter
Before using the quadrocopter [1], the lithium polymer battery [7] must be
charged. Likewise, the battery [7] should be charged as soon as the flight
performance decreases. Fully charge the battery [7].
1. Remove the battery [7] from the battery compartment [30] on the
underside of the quadrocopter by pressing the battery release button
and sliding the battery [7] out of the battery compartment [30] in the
direction of the arrow towards the rear position LEDs [35].
2. Now connect the Micro USB connector [31] of the battery [7] to the USB
charging cable [6]. You can connect the USB charging cable [6] to a USB
port on your computer, to a power bank or to a commercially available
USB mains plug and charge the battery [7]. The charging indicator LEDs
[37] start flashing red. When the battery [7] is fully charged, the char-
ging indicator LEDs [37] light up red constantly.
3. Disconnect the battery [7] from the USB charging cable [6] and push the
battery [7] back into the battery compartment [30] on the quadrocopter.
Make sure that the battery is fully engaged.
The charging process takes approx. 120 minutes with a fully discharged
battery. The flight time with a fully charged battery is approx. 9 – 10 minutes.
Notes:
– You can also charge the battery [7] when it is still in the battery
compartment in the drone. Follow step 2 and disconnect the USB cable
when the charging indicator LEDs [37] are fully lit. The quadcopter must
be switched off when charging.
