Using the Quadrocopter
Trimming the flight attitude
Depending on the battery status, you may have to trim the quadrocopter
[1] regularly to maintain a stable flight attitude. Let the quadrocopter [1]
hover quietly in one place and observe the changes when pressing the
trim buttons [14], [15], [18], [20].
There are four buttons available to trim the attitude:
–
Pitch Trim
[15] and [20]: The quadcopter will drift forward. Press the
Pitch Trim (Rear) button [20]. The quadcopter drifts backwards. Press the
pitch trim (forward) button [15].
–
Roll Trim
[14] and [18]: The quadrocopter drifts to the left. Press the
Roll Trim (Right) button [18]. The quadcopter drifts to the right: Press the
Roll Trim (left) button [14].
One-Key-Return
The One-Key-Return button [13] allows you to return the quadrocopter to
the remote control location. Since the quadrocopter does not have a GPS
sensor, the prerequisite for this is that the quadrocopter is in a straight
flight path in front of the remote control and the blue position LED is
pointing away from the remote control.
