Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Quadrocopter no longer shows good flight characteristics
– Check the product for obvious damage or contamination. In case of
contamination, clean the product carefully (chapter ”Cleaning“ on page
95). If damaged, replace the rotor blades or dispose of the unit properly.
– Check whether rotor blades may have been incorrectly mounted during
replacement (chapter ”Replacing rotor blades“ on page 89).
Quadrocopter constantly flies to one side or up / down
– Check whether the battery of the quadrocopter and the batteries of the
remote control are sufficiently charged. If necessary, charge the battery
of the quadrocopter and / or change the batteries of the remote control.
– Check whether trimming of the quadrocopter is necessary. Chapter
”Trimming the flight attitude“ on page 86.
Quadrocopter no longer turns left and right
– Check whether the headless flight mode is switched on and deactivate
it if necessary. Chapter ”Headless mode“ on page 87.
Wind
A rule of thumb of quadrocopter flight states that the wind speed must
not exceed 2/3 of the maximum speed of the quadrocopter. Please refer to
the technical data for the maximum speeds of the quadrocopter. You can
use various websites or third-party apps to determine the wind speed. Loss
of the quadrocopter due to wind is not subject to warranty or guarantee.
