Removing the Battery
Before disposing of the quadrocopter, the battery [5] must be removed and
disposed of separately. To do this, proceed as follows:
1. First make sure that the quadrocopter and remote control are switched off
and make sure that the quadrocopter and remote control remain switched
off for the entire duration of the battery removal.
2. Remove the battery [7] from the battery compartment [30] on the bottom
of the quadrocopter by pressing the battery release button and sliding
the battery [7] out of the battery compartment [31] in the direction of the
arrow towards the rear position LEDs [35].
3. Carefully remove the battery from the quadrocopter.
4. Use a Phillips screwdriver (not included) to unscrew the battery casing and
disconnect the cables from the circuit board.
5. Dispose of the battery as described in the chapter ”Disposal“.
Disposal
Dispose of the packaging correctly.
Use the local possibilities
for collecting paper, cardboard and light packaging (applicable in
the European Union and other European countries with systems for
the separate collection of recyclable materials).
