Remote release
The optional remote release (Fig. 11) allows wireless
remote control of the camera.
1. First switch to remote release with the self-timer but-
ton (SELF).
Two-shot self-timer
1. Press the self-timer button until the double self-timer
symbol
appears in the LCD panel.
2. Press the shutter release. The self-timer symbol
starts to flash in the LCD panel. The first exposure is
made after about 10 seconds, with the second shot
following some 2 seconds later. (Ex. 19 and 20)
Notes:
• Focusing and exposure data are calculated when the
shutter release is pressed. Don’t stand in front of the
camera when you press the shutter release.
• Place the camera on a firm base or use a tripod. This
ensures that your framing won’t change after releas-
ing the shutter.
• With flash shots, the delay between pressing the shut-
ter release and the exposure can be longer since the
flash has to recycle.
2. Set the focal length in the same way as on the cam-
era, using the zoom lens button on the remote re-
lease. Every press of the zoom button moves the lens
up or down on step in the following range: 28, 45, 60,
75, 90 mm.
3. The exposure is made 2 seconds after you trigger the
remote release, giving you time to get into position.
Notes:
• To ensure accurate framing, it is preferable to set the
focal length on the camera beforehand.
• The remote release is available from your Rollei
dealer.
• The remote release unit can be attached to the strap.
