5.2. Fault: Compressor will not start although there is low or no pressure in the compressed air tank (see the display on the compressed air tank pressure gauge (Fig.4 (30)).
Cause:
Remedy:
● Compressor emergency stop button (Fig.4 (29)) is switched off.
● Switch on compressor by pulling out the emergency stop button.
● ROLLER’S Multi-Control defective.
● Have the ROLLER’S Multi-Control checked/repaired by an authorised
ROLLER customer service workshop.
5.3. Fault: The necessary minimum fl ow velocity is not achieved in the fl ushing program.
Cause:
Remedy:
● Stop tap of the house connection is only partly open.
● Fully open the stop tap.
● Fine fi lter (Fig. 3 (12)) is contaminated.
● Clean or change the fi ne fi lter and fi lter cartridge.
● Not enough tapping points opened.
● Open the appropriate number of tapping points.
● Hoses connected incorrectly.
● Connect hoses as shown in Fig. 3.
● Wrong defaults entered.
● Check defaults, correct if necessary. Restart the program.
● Valves blocked, considerable, irremovable encrustations in the pipes.
● Clean/change valve(s). Clear encrustations.
5.4. Fault: The set pressure (p refer) is not reached in the test with compressed air or compressed air pump programs (ROLLER’S Multi-Control SL/SLW).
Cause:
Remedy:
● Installation or compressed air hose (Fig. 4 (23)) leaking.
● Check installation for leaks. Change the compressed air hose.
● No or too little pressure in the compressed air tank.
● See 5.2. Fault:
● ROLLER’S Multi-Control defective.
● Have the ROLLER’S Multi-Control checked/repaired by an authorised
ROLLER customer service workshop.
5.5. Fault: The set pressure (p refer) is not established in the test with water program (Multi-Control SLW).
Cause:
Remedy:
● The water pressure of the house connection is greater than the set pressure
(p refer).
● Close the shut-off valve of the house connection.
● Suction/pressure hose (Fig. 1 (13)) or high-pressure hose (Fig. 4 (26)) leaking. ● Change suction/pressure hose or high-pressure hose.
● Hydro-pneumatic pump does not build up pressure.
● Connect suction/pressure hose between the house connection and the
pressure test with water supply, see 2.6.2.
● Stop tap of the water supply is closed or only partly open.
● Fully open the stop tap.
● No or too little air pressure in the compressed air tank.
● Hydro-pneumatic pump requires compressed air, see 5.2. Fault:
● ROLLER’S Multi-Control defective.
● Have the ROLLER’S Multi-Control checked/repaired by an authorised
ROLLER customer service workshop.
5.6. Fault: The pressure in the pipe to be tested is not relieved after running the test with water programs or during the test with water B, P+M
(ROLLER’S Multi-Control SLW).
Cause:
Remedy:
● Pressure relief water drain (Fig. 4 (27)) is soiled or defective.
● Clean the pressure relief water drain or have it replaced by qualifi ed personnel
or an authorised ROLLER’S customer service workshop.
● ROLLER’S Multi-Control defective.
● Have the ROLLER’S Multi-Control checked/repaired by an authorised
ROLLER customer service workshop.
5.7. Fault: No or not enough ingredient is injected from the bottle.
Cause:
Remedy:
● Unsuitable disinfectant, cleaning, preserving agent.
● Use ROLLER’S Plus TW-D Color, ROLLER’S Plus H-R, ROLLER’S Plus H-K.
● ROLLER’S Inject TW or ROLLER’S Inject H connected wrongly to the
Multi-Control.
● Note the direction of fl ow arrow, see also 2.5.
● ROLLER’S Inject TW or ROLLER’S Inject H soiled.
● Clean ROLLER’S Inject TW or ROLLER’S Inject H, see also 4.1.
● ROLLER’S Inject TW or ROLLER’S Inject H defective.
● Wrong ROLLER’S Inject TW or ROLLER’S Inject H unit connected.
● Have ROLLER’S Inject TW or ROLLER’S Inject H checked/repaired by
authorised ROLLER customer service workshop.
● Use ROLLER’S Inject TW exclusively for ROLLER’S Plus TW-D Color.
Use ROLLER’S Inject H exclusively for ROLLER’S Plus H-R cleaner and
ROLLER’S Plus H-K corrosion protection.
5.8. Fault: The date and time must be reset every time the ROLLER’S Multi-Control is switched on.

● Battery depleted.
● Change battery. See 4.1.
5.9. Fault: The new version software was not installed.
Cause:
Remedy:
● USB stick not recognised.
● Use another USB stick.
● New version software is not on the USB stick.
● Copy new version software to the USB stick.
● The USB stick was pulled out of the USB port
(Fig. 2 (33)) during the installation.
● Repeat the procedure described in 2.3.. Use a USB stick with a LED if
possible.
● A folder was created on the USB stick and the new version software was
copied into this folder.
● Move the new version software into the main directory of the USB stick.
5.10. Fault: The fl ushing and testing programs have been incorrectly displayed on the PC.
Cause:
Remedy:
● The font "Lucida Console" is required for a correct display.
● Select font "Lucida Console", install if necessary.
5.11. Fault: Printing on paper weak or illegible. Printout aborted prematurely.
Cause:
Remedy:
● Weak battery charge.
● Charge battery.
● Paper reel inserted incorrectly in printer.
● Insert paper roll, see 3.8.
● The printer can only be used as of Version Software 2.0.

Downloads → Software into the controller of the ROLLER’S Multi-Control, see 2.3.
5.12. Fault: “Error” is displayed on the screen (6).
Cause:
Remedy:
● A fault has occurred.
● Unplug ROLLER’S Multi-Control. Remove all hoses, caps and stoppers.
Then restart ROLLER’S Multi-Control. If “Error” still appears, have the
ROLLER’S Multi-Control checked/repaired by an authorised ROLLER
customer service workshop.
