How to handle motorcycle batteries
Outer temperatures, intensity of usage and humidity have an influence
on the battery voltage. If you don’t use the motorcycle for a longer
period, we recommend to take out the battery and store it in a cool,
but non-frost and dry room. You may also store the whole vehicle
in such a place.
In order to prevent a loss of efficiency of the battery, it should be re-loaded
at least every 4 weeks when the vehicle is not used. Please contact
your service partner for the re-loading.
The used batteries must not be opened or re-filled!
The battery liquid is caustic and may harm your skin / health!
Disposal
The battery is not allowed to be disposed off in normal household waste.
It should be disposed off by a certified disposal company only.
Please check local legal requirements for proper disposal.
