Removing lifting roller
– To remove a lifting roller, the two interconnected lock pins (
1
) on the lifter gears
must be driven out with the special pin punch supplied.
– Disconnect the central lubrication line (
3
) on the right side of the connection in the
centre of the lifting roller bearing.
– Remove the two retaining bolts (
4
) on the lifting roller counter bearing. To do this,
bend the securing plate (
5
) away from the retaining bolts.
– Lower the lifting roller until there is space on the right under the beating retainer.
– The lifting roller can now be pulled out to the right from the claw coupling of the
drive.
Mounting lifting roller
– Generously grease the polyamide coupling before the lifting roller is pushed in.
– Insert the new lifting roller with screwed-in polyamide coupling into the claw cou-
pling of the lifting roller drive to the stop.
– Raise the lifting roller on the right and screw the two retaining bolts (
4
) into the lift-
ing roller counter bearing. Secure the retaining bolts with the securing plate (
5
).
– Drive in the lock pins (
1
) (not at the 4th lifting roller).
– Connect the central lubrication line (
3
).
– Close all open lock pin holes with original ROPA plastic plugs (ROPA item no.
120280300) to prevent dirt penetration.
ADVICE
The 4th lifting roller from the front is not locked to the lifting gears with lock pins!
This is to enable this lifting roller to be changed quickly and easily when the weather
changes (spirals transporting to the inside or outside).
