Filter Media Replacement
1.
Remove filter basket from filter housing.
2.
Inspect basket seal for cracks and/or splitting. Replace if damaged.
3.
Remove (unscrew) cover from basket assembly.
4.
Remove O-ring seal from groove in basket support web. Inspect O-ring seal for
cracks and/or splitting. Replace if damaged.
5.
Tip basket over and discard used media out from the media fill area. It may be
necessary to break up contaminated filter media. Use caution not damage the wire
cloth on the inside of the basket (sides of RS system and bottom of SP system).
6.
Discard contaminated media properly.
7.
Thoroughly clean basket and cover inside and out.
8.
Add filter media in media fill area (3 slots in top basket support ring).
9.
Clean excess media from O-ring groove and off top of basket support ring.
10.
Place O-ring seal in clean O-ring groove.
11.
Replace basket cover and tighten down to seal.
12.
Install Basket seal.

13.
Install basket in filter housing and secure cover.
14.
Follow standard Filter System Start-Up Procedure found in the Filter
INSTALLATION, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL.
