Do not use abrasive cleaners on the grill grates or the grill. Doing so may damage the surface.
To protect the food being barbecued and the grill, the temperature should not be allowed to exceed 350
°C/662 °F. Excessively high temperatures may cause parts of the grill to deform.
Some (chemical/poisonous) by-products produced when barbecuing, especially if the appliance is not
used properly, can be harmful to health. These could lead to cancer, problems with pregnancy and
other consequences.
Gascylinderconnection
Make sure that the valve of the gas cylinder is turned off as indicated by the mark on the gas cy-
linder.
Never use a naked flame to look for gas leaks. Before checking for leaks, make sure that there
are no potential sources of sparks or naked flames close by. Sparks or flames could cause an ex-
plosion, which could result in very serious or even fatal injuries or damage to property.
The gas pressure regulators used have a union nut with a left-hand thread for screwing onto the gas
cylinder valve. Follow the relevant instructions for connecting the regulator.
