It is recommended to use RAMDA-PRO 2-stroke oil. The fuel-oil mixing ratio is 1:40 (2,5%) at
first start and 1:50 (2%) after five hours of use.
3. Once the proper fuel mix is obtained, wipe the gas cap and its surrounding area, then
remove the gas cap. Fill the fuel tank up to the lip of the opening with the fuel mix. Then,
securely replace the gas cap.
NOTICE:
Inspect the fuel cap O-Ring each time you fill the tank. Replace if cracked, cut or
leaking.
General operating instructions
Before starting the Chain Saw
1. Add saw chain oil (not included) and the gas/oil mixture (not included).
2. Check the saw chain tension and adjust if necessary (see tool set up).
3. Be ready to cut before starting the chain saw. Stand in front of the wood to be cut with your
feet firmly in place.
4. Locate the power switch so you will know how to turn off the engine immediately if needed.
5. Place the chain saw on the ground while starting the engine.
Do not start the engine while holding the chain saw above the ground. You may
lose control when the engine starts up and cause injury to yourself.
ALWAYS
follow the
starting procedure with the chain saw placed on the ground.
Starting Procedure
1. Place your right foot on the bottom of the rear handle to hold the chain saw firmly in place
on the ground while starting the engine.
2. Engage the chain brake by pushing the chain brake/front guard toward the guide bar.
3. Move the power switch to the »ON« position.
4. If the engine is cold, pull the choke knob out to close the choke valve. If the engine is warm,
press the choke knob in, so the choke valve opens.
5. Push the priming pump 2 or 3 times.
6. To prime the engine, pull the rope several times or until you hear a pop or gurgle sound.
7. If the choke knob is not activated (cold engine): press the lockout switch, then squeeze the
throttle trigger and then activate(pull out) the choke knob. Now release the lockout switch
and the trigger switch.
8. Pull the rope quickly and firmly several times, until the engine starts. Then while the engine
is running, deactivate the choke by pushing the choke knob in.
9. Disengage the chain brake by pulling the front guard toward you.
