9.4. Baseboard
These section give an overview about the features of the baseboard rBaseETX. Details about the interfaces
can you found in the next chapters. Some features depend on used ETX module. Graphic controller, ethernet
controller, primary and or secondary IDE will be influenced by the ETX module. It's important to read the
manual of the ETX module before using it with the rBase.
9.4.1. Power
The rBaseETX has a two pin power socket with a wide input voltage range.
Type of on board connector: PhoenixContact (type: MSTBA 2,5/ 2-G-5,08; order code: 175 72 42).
Type of jacket: PhoenixContact MSTB 2,5/ 2-ST-5,08 (order code: 175 70 19).

Take attention to the right polarity of the power supply. Beside the connector a '+' for Vcc and '-' for GND is
printed on the board to help for connecting with the right polarity.

The rBaseETX has internal high efficient switching voltage controllers for generating 12V, 5V and 3.3V. The
internal supply current is 4A, 10A or 2A for the 12V, 5V respectively for the 3.3V line. The internal supply
current was partly used for the electronics on board. So maximal supply current for external device is listed in
the following table.
