9.4.2.12. FAN1, FAN2, FAN3, FAN4, FAN5
rBaseETX can control up to 5 DC fans. The fans can be controlled individually in speed. It will also be possible to
speed up the fans with increasing temperature or vice versa. The control will be done through two ADT7476A
devices. These devices allow several settings and features. For a detailed information about all possible
settings and readings please refer the data sheet of ADT7474A. The electrical restriction can be found in the
following table. According the given values it will be possible to drive 3 fans with a current consumption of
0.5A or to drive 5 fans with a current consumption of 0.3A.

9.4.2.13. Temperature Senor
Two additional temperature sensors can connected via the connector T1_SENS and T2_SENS. The ADT7476A
controller measures the voltage at the pn exchange of a simple transistor. For detailed information about the
possible transistors and how to connect them to the ADT7476A refer the data sheet.
