TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
If the slicer is to be moved or stored, lock the carriage priorly.
o
Lock the carriage (depending on model):
§
Switch off and unplug slicer
§
Set thickness control knob to 0
§
Turn carriage locking knob counter-clockwise, until it is loosened completely
§
Move carriage to the proper position: slicer will be locked automatically
o
Unlock carriage:
§
Turn knob clockwise to unlock carriage
§
Carriage can then be moved

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
o
Cleaning:
§
Before cleaning any part of slicer, switch it off, unplug power cord, and set
thickness control knob to position 0
§
Do not clean slicer with high-pressure cleaner, jets of water, in dishwashers and
sinks, but with a damp cloth and mild detergent
§
Do not use tools like brushes or scouring pads because they are likely to damage
the slicer surface
§
Use a regular disposable towel to wipe down the slicer, to remove loose food
residue
