Checking the imager and pack contents
Charging the battery
1. Take the imager and accessories out of the packaging.
2. Check if the delivery is complete.
3. Inspect the imager and accessories for damages.
4. Do not use the imager when it is damaged or parts are missing. Contact the service
centre listed on the warranty card.
The battery is only lightly charged when it leaves the factory. Charge the battery
for 1.5 hours prior to first use of the imager. Proceed as follows:
- Lift the protective cap from the right socket strip.
- Insert the mains plug into a 230V ~ / 50 Hz mains socket. A green light illuminates on the
mains adapter.
- Insert the Mini USB plug of the charging cable into the corresponding Mini USB socket.
The green charging light illuminates.
- When the charging cycle is completed the charging light goes off.
The battery can also be charged when the imager is switched on. The battery
status light blinks on the display during charging
.
When the battery is fully charged the
symbol will appear.
- Unplug the mains adapter from the power supply when finished charging.
Charge the battery at room temperature. Charging at extreme temperatures can reduce
the capacity of the battery.
Connect the headphones
- Lift the protective cap from the right socket strip.
- Insert the plug of the headphones into the audio out socket.
The lithium-ion battery will be damaged beyond repair when deeply discharged.
Apply a monthly maintenance charge when not using the imager.
