Fault
Cause
Fault rectification
A fault message appears when
calibrating the mobile phone.
This is a fault in the mobile phone’s Bluetooth menu.
The process was still successful.
It is not possible to calibrate a mobile
phone user, as the mobile phone is
already paired with the module.
Disconnect via the Bluetooth settings.
Then pair it again.
Constant pairing request as soon as
the mobile phone enters the
module’s range.
In this case, the pairing between the module and mobile phone is
deleted on the mobile phone only, but not on the module
.
Keypad code was not accepted.
Keypad code is blocked
Before entering the code, press the “X”
button on the code keypad to delete
the numbers that were previously
entered.
Buttons on the Phone & Code have previously been pressed.
After multiple incorrect codes have
been entered, the keypad will stop
responding.
If 30 characters have been entered, the keypad will initially be
blocked for 5 seconds.
If another 30 unknown characters are entered after the block, the
keypad will be blocked for another 10 seconds, then for 30 seconds
and finally for 60 seconds.
As soon as a sequence of characters is entered that represents a
known code (e.g. keypad code), the keypad will be reset and, if
blocked again, the block would begin again after 5 seconds.
Wait until the blocking time has
elapsed.
The Phone & Code buttons respond
very poorly or not at all.
If the Phone & Code is being supplied with power, the device will
start up.
With this starting process, the code keypad is calibrated, among
other things.
Problems may occur if the front cover is not attached until after the
Phone & Code has started up.
Push the front cover on before
connecting the device to the power
supply.
