"RFID Safe"
!!ATTENTION
: Please read these operating instructions carefully before using the electronic lock or
set a new number combination. We accept no liability for any malfunction due to faulty changeover,
use of force or improper handling nor for property damage or pecuniary loss, which may occur ,for
example, due to the improper closing of the safe.
Your Safe Modell "RFID Safe" can be opened with a master code, a guest code, an RFID-
enabled card or with one of the two emergency opening keys provided.
Each key when pressed is acknowledged with an acoustic signal.
An incorrect entry can be corrected by pressing the "CLEAR" key.
If it is desired that the code entered (master or guest code) not to be displayed on the screen
when entered, press the "0" key followed by the "LOCK" key before entering the code. On the
screen it will be displayed the
„
“ symbol instead of the number that is pressed.
It is not recommended to use non-alkaline batteries.
The safe comes with the master code 8-8-8-8-8-8, and for security reasons we recommend that you
change the factory master code to a personal master code immediately.
1. GETTING STARTED:
a. Remove the cover of the emergency opening lock situated on the right side of the fitting by
sliding it to the right.
b. Insert one of the two supplied emergency opening keys into the lock.
c. Turn the key to the left.
d. Open the door.
e. Turn the key back to its original position and remove it.

Remove the safety screw from the battery compartment cover from the inside of the door.
g. Remove the cover from the battery compartment.
h. Insert four 1.5 volt AA alkaline batteries (pay attention to the correct polarity when inserting
the batteries).

The display shows "SECUrE" followed by "-GOOd-"
– now the safe is ready to be used.
j.
Close the battery compartment.
k. Carry on the first opening using the factory master code (see section 8 "Opening with master
code").
2. ERROR ENTRY
If you enter the wrong code or attempt to open the safe with a RFID-enabled card that does not have
access to your safe, a five-time acoustic signal will sound and the message "ERROR" will appear on
the display.
3. BLOCKING PERIOD AFTER AN ERROR
If an incorrect code has been entered four times or you attempted to open the safe with an
unauthorized RFID card, there will be a blocking period for 15 minutes ,during which no entry is
possible. If a key access code is entered during the blocking period, the message "HOLdI5" appears
on the display and the remaining blocking time is counted down until it expires. This blocking period
can be canceled by briefly removing the batteries.
4. BATTERY CHANGE
(If the display becomes faint or unreadable, or if opening is no longer
possible, you should immediately replace the batteries).
a. If necessary, open the safe using the emergency opening key (see section 11 - Opening with
the emergency key).
