Max. voltage
33 V DC
Max. continuous current
10 A
Protection type
IP 67
Installing without ROTZLER electronics:
To connect the rope-end switch, a two-wire cable with a
conductor cross section of 20 AWF to 19 AWG must be
used.
The two strands must be connected to the switch strands
marked "1" and "2". The strand marked "3" is not used for
Rope-end signal.
The connection between the present cable and the cus-
tomer's cable has to be sealed accordingly if the protection
type IP 67 is to be reached.
For a detailed drawing of the rope end control, refer to
Fig. 25.
DANGER!
Danger of dropping the load!
Work at the rope-end control must only be per-
formed without load on the winch.
Assembly and mode of operation "rope-end control"
The scanning pulley (1) scans the rope structure (S) during
winch operation. If the scanning pulley leaves the rope
structure, the signal to the hoisting gear safety device (not
included in the delivery by ROTZLER) is interrupted.
It must be ensured on site that the winch is stopped in di-
rection "ROPE OUT".
9.3.2
Inspection after installation
After completed installation, the installed electronics and all
safety functions of the winch must be inspected.
For inspection of the winch after completed installation, see
chapter 8.4.
9.3.3
Checking Rope-end control
1. Pay out rope until the safety wraps are reached.
2. Once the safety wraps are reached on the bottom-most
rope layer, the control switch (3) must interrupt the sig-
nal to the safety devices of the hoisting gear (not in-
cluded in the delivery of ROTZLER).
