remove the protective cap (18) on the blade assembly (17).
- Remove any hair by blowing the top and the underside of the mesh (14).
Never use the brush to clean the mesh (14).
So that your appliance continues to give good results, it is essential to oil the mesh
regularly with the lubricant provided. Sewing machine oil can also be used.
IMPORTANT: If the epilator is used under water or in moist conditions, lubricate
the cam of the epilator with oil or vaseline after use (fig. 19).
It is normal for a little oil to appear on the shaft of your shaver/bikini-line head (fig.
20): we recommend you not to wipe it off, to ensure that these accessories conti-
nue to work well.
- The protective cap (18) and blade assembly (17) can also be cleaned under gently
running water to remove any hair (fig. 22). Shake these components vigorously to
remove water and then dry them with a towel before re-assembling them. Be care-
ful not to press on the mesh.
- Replace the protective cap (18) on the blade assembly (17). You will hear a click
when it is pushed home (fig. 21).
WARNING! DO NOT PRESS DOWN ON THE MESH WHEN YOU ARE REPLACING IT.
Do not use any alcohol on the body of the appliance as this will have a detrimental
effect on the colours. Do not use any sharp or metal objects for cleaning.
• Cleaning the cutting head (supplied with certain models):
- Turn off the appliance and unplug it.
- Press the head release button and remove the bikini-line head.
- Lift off the comb and remove any hair from the cutting head using the brush.
- Rinse the cutting head under cold running water for 5 to 10 seconds.
- Shake the head vigorously to remove water and then dry it with a towel.
IMPORTANT: Always clean the cutting head after use.
