• To mark a clear bikini contour:
If you want to cut hair as close as possible to your skin, use the bikini area head
without a comb. The appliance must be off (press 0) and unplugged.
Remove the comb attachment (fig. 13). Switch the appliance on, selecting the
speed (fast or soft). Hold the appliance perpendicular and move it slowly against
the direction of hair growth.
IMPORTANT: stretch your skin with your other hand to raise the hairs.
This will give you a close shave with minimum skin irritation.
8 - Using the hydromassage head (supplied with certain
models)
This accessory can be used under water to provide circular massage on the inner
and outer sides of your thighs (fig. 14). The hydromassage head consists of 25 balls
which rotate when they are in contact with your skin to stimulate the exchange of
body tissue nutrients and the elimination of toxins.
The recommended duration of hydromassage is 5 minutes for each area.
When you press button “a” on your epilator, the hydromassage head begins to
turn for a cycle lasting 5 minutes and then stops automatically. To start the
massage action again press button “a” again. The appliance is fitted with a per-
manent safety system which stops the head rotating if it is used for too long: It
is normal for it to stop in this way. Press the on/off switch (d) to restart the
appliance and then press button “a” to restart the hydromassage.
After an epilation session small red spots may appear on the areas treated. This
reaction is completely normal and is caused by pulling on the skin. It can be consi-
derably alleviated by using the hydromassage head. We strongly recommend the
use of the hydromassage head after epilation.
9 - Maintenance
• Cleaning the epilation head:
- Turn off the appliance and unplug it.
- Press the head release button and remove the epilation head (fig. 8).
- Place the epilation head under a cold running tap and turn it for 5 to 10 seconds
(fig. 15).
- Shake the head vigorously to remove water and then dry it with a towel before
replacing it (fig. 16). You can also clean the head using the brush supplied (fig. 17).
• Cleaning the shaver head (supplied with certain models):
- Turn off the appliance and unplug it.
- Remove the protective cap (18) by holding the epilator firmly, pressing the
release buttons (16) on the shaver head and then pulling it upward. This will
