The m ain lead of this appliance is fitted w ith a BS1363A plug.
If your socket outlet is not suitable for the plug, then the plug m ust be rem oved (cut off if it is
a m oulded plug), the flexible cord insulation should be stripped back as appropriate and a suitable
3 pin plug fitted.
Warning: Dispose of a plug that has been cut from the pow er supply cord, as such a plug is hazardous
if inserted in a live 13A socket outlet elsew here in the house.
Should the fuse need to be replaced an ASTA m arked fuse, approved to BS1362, of the sam e rating
m ust be used.
Always replace the fuse cover after fitting a fuse.
The plug m ust NOT be used if the cover is om itted or lost until a replacem ent is obtained -
m ake certain that only the correct fuse cover is used and fitted.
For plugs w ith a detachable fuse cover the replacem ent m ust be the sam e as the colour insert
in the base of the plug, or as directed by the em bossed w ording on the base of the plug.
If the detachable fuse cover is lost a replacem ent m ay be purchased from the Row enta Service Centre
(see enclosed Service Inform ation leaflet).
Inform ation for supply m ay also be obtained from the plug m anufacturer.

it is the reponsibility of the consum er to supply to the Service Agent proof of the date of purchase
of the appliance (eg. com pleted guarantee card and/or receipt show ing the date of purchase).

w ith the follow ing codes Blue, Neutral, Brow n, live. Please read
the instructions given below before connecting the cord to
a plug. If in doubt, please consult a qualified electrician.
As the colours of the w ires in the m ains lead of this appliance
m ay not correspond w ith the coloured m arkings identifying
the term inals in your plug, proceed as follow s:
• the w ire w hich is coloured BLUE m ust be connected to the term inal w hich is m arked w ith the letter
" N " or coloured BLACK.
• the w ire w hich is coloured BROWN m ust be connected to the term inal w hich is m arked w ith
the letter " L " or coloured RED.
Neither core is to be connected to the earth term inal of a three-pin plug.
This appliance requires a 3 fuse ASTA approved to BS 1362.
