Switching off the appliance
1. Set the ON/OFF switch (see Fig. 2, No. 2) to position “O”. The red light goes out.
2. Pull the power plug out of the socket.

Repacking for private transport purposes
Always pack the appliance in its original packaging for transportation to prevent transport
damage.

Cleaning and Maintenance
4.1 Safety measures

Always pull the mains plug out of the socket before servicing the appliance.

Only begin the maintenance or repair work once the appliance has cooled down.
4.2 Cleaning
If the appliance has become dirty, observe the following notes during cleaning:

Always clean the appliance while cool.

Pull out mains plug before any work.
P
Only clean the appliance using a dry, soft cloth or mild glass cleaner. Never use strong
and/or abrasive cleaning agents.
4.3 Maintenance
Note that only original parts may be used for repair and maintenance work. Contact the
ROWI Service Center if need be (see Chapter 5).
