1. Product Description
1.1 General
The beautifully shaped infra-red table heater HIT 1600/1 LB is a universal device for use
outdoors.. A pleasant heat is built up at the touch of a button without preheating and
given off directly to persons or objects, without heat being lost due to draughts in the air.
Thanks to the integral IR sensor, the device responds to movement and switches on when
approached or off correspondingly after periods of longer absence. The illuminated glass
top is especially practical. Thanks to the anti-tipping switch, carbon fibre heating element
and anodized fire retardant mesh, this device is particularly safe in use. In private areas
such as gardens, terraces or at camp sites - with this infra-red table radiant heater, you
always have the opportunity to extend the outdoor season and create pleasant heat for
you and your guests without having to go without a cosy atmosphere.
1.2
Type plate
The type plate of the infra-red table radiant heater with all relevant technical data is
attached on the rear of the device.
1.3
Area of application and intended use
This device is constructed according to the state of the art and the recognized technical
rules of safety. Nevertheless, improper use or use other than that intended can result in
hazards to the life and limb of the user or third parties or damage to the device itself and/
or other tangible assets.
This electrical radiant heating device is suitable for heating the ambient air and is designed
for use indoors as well as outdoor areas protected from the weather. The heat is generated
by the heating tube and given off to the surroundings.
A different use or a use extending beyond this is deemed to be improper. The user shall
bear the risk. Proper and correct use also includes observance of the operating and
installation notes as well as compliance with the maintenance terms.
