1. Product Description
1.1 General
Convector heaters transfer air heated by convection into the room. The cool room air flow-
ing into the heater is heated inside the convector by means of heating filaments. The air
heated in this way flows over the top of the appliance silently into the room. The heated
air rises upwards, the cold air "falls" downwards, where it is sucked in by the convector.
The circulating heat produced in this way ensures a rapid and uniform heating of the entire
room. Convector heaters are particularly suitable as transitional or additional heating for
small to medium-sized rooms. An overheating protection ensures the highest safety during
operation
1.2
Type plate
The type plate of the heat convector with all relevant technical data is attached on the rear
of the appliance.
1.3
Area of application and intended use
This appliance is constructed according to the state of the art and the recognized technical
rules of safety. Nevertheless, improper use or use other than that intended can result in
hazards to the life and limb of the user or third parties or damage to the appliance itself
and/or other tangible assets.
The cool room air flowing into the heater from below is heated inside the convector via
hearing wires and flows on the top of the appliance silently into the room. Never use these
appliances outside or in a humid environment. Only operate the heat convector in an
upright position. This appliance is only designed for household use. Do not use this appli-
ance for commercial purposes.
A different use or a use extending beyond this is deemed to be improper. The
user shall bear the risk. Proper and correct use also includes observance of the
operating and installation notes as well as compliance with the maintenance terms.
1.4
Product safety
In order to avoid potential hazards in advance, the following safety devices have been
installed by the manufacturer as standard:
Overheating protection
If the maximum permitted appliance temperature is exceeded, the appliance automatically
switches off and cannot be restarted until it has cooled down.
