between the brake shoes.
Insert and tap the front wheel axle gently
inside.
Refit the washer and tighten the nut firmly.
N o t e
:
Ensure that the speedo drive is correctly
l oc a t e d su c h t h a t t h e c a b l e c a n b e
connected without difficulty.
Tighten
the
pinch bolt on the
RH fork guide.
Rotate the wheel
a nd che ck f or
smooth rotation.
C o n n e c t
t h e
speedo cable to
sp e e d o
d ri v e
and check for proper working of speedo
meter.
DO IT YOURSELF
Take out Speedo drive and bush on the
RH side.
Place a 4 mm thick wooden piece or
cardboard sheet between the brake shoes
to avoid brake shoes getting locked.
C a u t i o n :
Do not depress the front brake lever when
wheel is removed as this will result in brake
shoes getting locked.
Front Wheel Reassembly
Remove the wooden piece / card board
sheet placed between the brake shoes.
Place the speedo drive bush in position
