intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capacities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety
> Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
OPERATION
Plug in the charger to the mains. The charger starts automatically when one or more cells are inserted
into the charging slots. Pull back the contact bridge (5) and insert the cells to the bottom of the charging
slot. Always connect the cells in the right direction for polarity (according to the symbols in the charging
slots). The cells do not have to be inserted simultaneously as the charging processes are separate from
each other.
To prevent the cylindrical cells and the 9V block from overcharging please only charge empty cells.
Please note the charging times in the table (6). Remove the cells from the charger after the charging
time has expired!
The maximum charging time for empty cells can be calculated with following formula:
Charging time (h) =
1.4 (charging factor) x capacity (mAh)
charge current (mA)
ExAMPLE: Mignon AA 2000mAh (charging current for AA cells: 150mA)
1.4 x 2000mAh
150mA
Charging time: approx. 18.5h
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING:
To clean the charger, disconnect it from the power adaptor. To ensure correct function of the charger keep
the charging contacts free from dust and dirt. Please only use a dry cloth.
ENVIRONMENT:
Rechargeable batteries are not to be disposed of in domestic waste. Used batteries should be turned into
a battery recycling collection depot. Check with your local municipal office.
